Old Fashioned Tent Meeting
An old fashioned tent meeting is underway on Route 522 near Woodville. The meeting will continue through Saturday, August 6 at 7:30 p.m. nightly.
Evangelist Waldo F. Grandstaff from Lynchburg will be preaching. Special singing from area churches will be featured each evening. The public is cordially invited to attend.
Gid Brown Bible
Revival services will be held at Gid Brown Bible Church near Washington August 8-12 each evening at 7:30 p.m.
Jerry Whiteheart, pastor of Gospel Light Baptist Church in Salisbury, North Carolina will be preaching throughout the week.
There will be special singing each evening, a nursery will be provided and transportation can be arranged by calling the pastor, John K. Burke at 675-3662.
