The first family reunion of the late Aubrey R. and Ellen B. Jenkins was held on Sunday, July 24 at the home of the Jenkins’ son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William Lee in Flint Hill.

In addition to the Lees, others attending were Mr. and Mrs. John Burke, Judy Burke, Janet Clatterbuck, Christie and Heather Estep, Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Racer, Jim Racer, Carolyn Sue Racer, Bonnie Lou Racer, Roger Cooke, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Smoot and Angie, Abbie Jenkins and Gary, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Payne, Sharon, Melissa, Wanda and Al, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jenkins, Bobby, Kirk and James, Mr. and Mrs. Branson Jenkins and Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Burke, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jenkins and Brian and Ricky Pullen, all from the Washington area.

Coming from Sperry ville for the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Troy Jenkins, Troy, Jr., Connie and Mark, Mrs. Linda Dwyer, Richie, Cindy and Tammy, Wayne Jenkins, June Jordan, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Jenkins, Dick Clatterbuck, Wesley Cooke and Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Burke.

Those traveling the longest distant for the gathering were Mr. and Mrs. David Jenkins of Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
