The Woman’s Society of Christian Service of the Flint Hill United Methodist Church met with Mrs. Barbara Gentry on Monday, July 18 with ten members present. Mrs. Gentry led the study class on Hebrews.
The Flint Hill volunteer firemen will have their annual carnival on August 3, 4, 5 and 6 with special events every night. The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Mrs. Diana Beckham of New Mexico has been spending a couple of weeks here with her mother, Mrs. Warren Presgraves and Mr. Presgraves.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hickerson visited Mrs. Alice Sisk at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Sisk in Front Royal on Friday evening. Also visiting were Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Lillard of Alexandria who were enroute to their home after a vacation at Rehoboth Beach, Del. The Hickersons were Saturday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hickerson at Chester Gap.
Mrs. Debra Clatterbuck and son, Donald Berry of Front Royal and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Dellinger and children, Angie and Joshua of Reliance were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard.
