Assistant principal John Toth at Rappahannock high school said he ran off copies of the scores to post conspicuously throughout the building. “It’s pretty obvious that good things are occurring in Rappahannock’s public schools despite the sometimes negative publicity,” he said Tuesday.

In the state 94.3 percent of students tested passed both reading and math.
