In the area of curriculum improvements, the citizens’ group will ask the supervisor candidates to take a position on offering all students at the elementary and high school exposure to computers (either through a separate computer science course or by having computers available for use in the classrooms). In addition, they will ask the candidates to endorse a new graduation requirement for a half-year of computer science (effective 1985-86); offering a foreign language to elementary students and adding a second foreign language at the high school.
