Virgie Frazier

Born In Rappahannock

Mrs. Virgie Alma Frazier, 78, of Luray, died Monday, August 22, 1983, at Page Memorial Hospital.

She was bom July 30, 1905, in Rappahannock County and was a daughter of the late Jeff Thomas Peterson and Mamie Cornell Dwyer. On August *23, 1922, she married Homer N. Frazier, who died April 4, 1981.

Surviving are four daughters, Reva Curtis and Dorothy Nichols, both of Fairfax, Louise Miller and Mary Ann Courtney, both of Luray; a brother, Leonard Dwyer of Brightwood; three sisters, Mrs. Ollie Frazier and Mrs. Beulah Bailey, both of Luray and Nina Grimes of Warrenton; five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray. Burial was in Beahm’s Chapel cemetery.
