New Number
Central Telephone Company (Centel) is instituting a new buried cable location number for its customers in Front Royal, Washington, Luray, Stanley and Shenandoah on September 1.
“Beginning September 1, Centel customers should call 1-800-552-7001 when they need us to locate a buried telephone cable for them,” says William P. Flippo, Centers Front Royal customer services manager.
Flippo advises anyone planning earth-moving, ditching or similar construction projects in areas through which buried telephone cables may run to call the new number at least 48 hours prior to starting work. Telephone company personnel will then mark the location of buried telephone cables.
