Hitt, Bruce Frye, Jerry Compton, and Jeannie Lipp all signed up for the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course at Flint Hill. They went to their first class Monday night. If they do well, they graduate Decembers.
All 15 students at the Carl Bishoff Memorial CPR class passed their tests and are certified life-savers now. Pipsy and Nicholas Bishoff thanked James Grigsby for teaching it and Vince Hannon for offering a water-rescue mini-course. They also expressed appreciation to Mary Frances and Bill Fannon for the use of their pool and Hazel and Mary Frances for the fine lunch on Saturday as well as all the others who gave of their time and
possessions to make the | event a success.
In closing, we take you back to the beaches of Lake Michigan where John Hilbrand says he reads the Castleton social column with interest, espefcklly the part that closes with “Remember what your Aunt Michele says.”
His reply: “And now remember what nephew John always says, ‘Write back soon and tell me how your summer is going and what you’re doing. ’ ”
