Ladies To Meet

The Flint Hill Ladies Auxiliary will meet on Monday, September 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the fire hall. All members and interested persons are urged to attend.

Aerobics Begin

Aerobic dance classes, led by Rose Ann Sharp, will begin September 6 in a six-week fall session.

Hour long classes will be offered Tuesdays and Fridays at 9 a.m. in the old Washington school, Mondays and Wednesdays at 4 p.m. in the Flint Hill fire hall and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. in the Rappahannock elementary school auditorium. From 7:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, there will be an additional half-hour of advanced aerobics for those students interested in a more demanding workout.

Registration will be a half-hour before the first class. For additional information, call Rose Ann Sharp at 675-3887.

RLEP Sets Meeting

The Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection will hold its annual meeting on Friday, September 9, at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock Courthouse.

The agenda will include the film, “The Gift”, produced for the Shenandoah National Park. The half-hour show is a historical account of how the park was established.

The business meeting will include discussion and action on resolutions concerning powerlines, microwave towers and other issues. Election of officers will conclude the meeting.

Members and friends are invited to attend.
