Mrs. Norman Sims, Mrs. T. M. Johnston, Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Joe Sherman, Cliff Sutherland, Bill Oliver, Chuck Raney, The Rev. Jennings Hobson III and Gil Webb, members of Trinity Episcopal Church attended a Retreat at Shrinemont Monday and Tuesday.

Mrs. T. M. Johnston was a Friday overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Meade, Bethany and Broocks in Charlottesville. Sunday they attended the Tanner reunion at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church at Haywood.

The Rev. and Mrs. Douglas Farmer of Haywood and their son, Lt. Mark Farmer of the U. S. Air Force were luncheon guests Sunday of Mrs. Roy L. Reeve at the Mimslyn in Luray.

Mr. and Mrs. Brown Miller was hostess to a picnic last Tuesday evening in honor of William Merritt of Berlin, Germany who has been spending the summer with the Rev. and Mrs. Douglas Farmer at Haywood. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ulrich Maeyer and children, Nicole, Heidi and Jonathan, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fletcher, Bill Fletcher and Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Bradford of Flint Hill. William returned to Germany on Wednesday.

Mrs. Mary Rice Hottel is a patient in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.

Mrs. Floyd Clatterbuck is recuperating at her home following a stroke and a stay at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Those visiting Mrs. Clatterbuck recently were her pastor, Rev.
