If the planters are removed, the building may proceed. That was the decision at Friday’s special town council meeting to consider in application for a zoning variance at The Inn at Little Washington.
Council members remembered that the original application granted two years ago to expand and renovate the building provided nine parking spaces in front of the building. They did not recall being informed by the restaurant’s owners that the fenced garden which presently extends from The Inn and the planters would take up two of the parking spaces, leaving seven.
