All of us are affected by the singling out of Rappahannock County as the location for the gun range. One may be fortunate enough to escape the flying lead, but the noise and incidental effects will be inescapable. Livestock and wildlife will suffer after day upon day of constant gunshots echoing across the foothills. The plague of roadhunters will return seeing the gun range as an incentive for firearms activity. It will encourage random hunting and will draw marksmen and thrillseekers from all over.

Worst of all, what will be the horrifying psychological and physical effects on those who suffer the daily battery of bullets? How can we allow such an insane enterprise to flourish in Rappahannnock County? Please voice your concern and outrage to the County Board of Supervisors. If one gun range is allowed to open, nothing prevents the opening of another in your backyard.
