“Parking is a problem in that part of town,” said Miller, asking the council whether it wanted to approve the variance with the condition that portions of the garden and fence be removed and that additional parking be provided and paved. The motion to do so, made by Brad Fisher and supported by C. E. Giles, was unanimously approved.
The variance to the setback distance from Main Street was required by revised plans for expansion of The Inn’s kitchen facilities. In considering those plans, the council approved a special use permit for ten rooms upstairs for overnight guests. Miller noted that The Inn must comply with
