In fact, our borders are only a few feet from the range. Sooner or later, after a hideous accident, someone in control of this county will realize the gun range was an unfortunate mistake.
We are constantly reminded of the soaring statistics involving accidental shootings expending the lives of the innocent, the young or the unwary. Must Rappahannock County be a contributor to this? What tragedies will this gun range bring before it is taken out of operation? Which of us or our children will wander into the trajectory of a bullet that missed its target?
