.joint public hearing between the board of supervisors and planning commission has been set for December 21 to consider adopting a special amendment to allow the Cranes to proceed with their addition. The request had been denied by the BZA because everyone within a village shares the same hardship; the board could not find that the Cranes had a situation unusual from other residents of Flint Mill.
Said board member -lames Swindler “Flint Hill is a different location. Kvery location is different and should be considered." He urged the board to proceed with a vote on the Brown case rather than wait for the Crane amendment as Konick urged. Konick felt the Brown case could he approved under the Crane amendment, assuming it passed, but that approval of the Brown request could bring up serious hardship questions in future additions cases.
Mrs. Brown lightened the meeting fora moment by suggesting humorously, "It is a hardship when you have only one bathroom and a teenager.”
