When disaster strikes, the Salvation Army is ever ready to provide spiritual ministry, mass and individual feeding, shelter, clothing, furniture, household supplies, registration and identification. The Salvation Army is equipped with mobile electrical generators and radio-equipped mobile canteens, trucks, station wagons, vans and a limited radio communications system to expedite relief assistance.
The Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and various other local fraternal, service and religious groups too numerous to mention here are also ready to assist their community by providing manpower, food, clothing and shelter.
