Virginia agricultural officials are watching the state’s poultry industry in the wake of an avian influenza quarantine in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
VDACS commissioner S. Mason Carbaugh was among agricultural leaders from seven area states present at a briefing in D.C. on November 23.
