Original Play Opens
"Voices of Rappahannock: An Original Play" runs December 2. 3, 0 and 10th at the Gay Street 1 heater. Advance tickets are available at the Middle Street Gallery, Nature’s Foods and the RAAC office. Dolly Adkins’ fried chicken will be sold at the concession stand during intermission. 1 he play celebrates the county’s history and Rappahannock’s sesquicentennial.

Three of the most talented black actors working today display their cotnedic talents in this film about a group of ball players who have defected from the old Negro National League and barnstorm across the depression-ridden Midwest.
Due to the performance of Voices of Rappahannock this Saturday night. December 3, “Bingo Long” will be shown as a matinee at 2 p.m. on Saturday. The Sunday showing at Gay Street Theater will he at 7 p.m. as usual.
