Members of the family here have learned that W.R. Hawkins is a patient in Culpeper Memorial Hospital. He underwent surgery on Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Burke have returned home from an extended visit with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Bennett in Alexandria, especially being there during the hospitalization of their daughter.
Mr. and Mrs. Danny Sims and Erin returned to their home in Charlottesville on Monday after the holidays with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Butler and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Sims. They will resume their studies at the University on Thursday.
