This represented 7/10 of one percent of Virginia’s agricultural and forest land. Purchases during the past year ranged from a high of 19,775 acres in Loudoun County to a low of 3.84 in Washington County. Almost half of the land owned by foreign investors was located in Loudoun, Pittsylvania, Patrick, Albemarle and Culpeper Counties, five of Virginia’s 63 counties and cities.
