According to the coach, what the first year Lady Panthers of the volleyball court have right now are girls who are strong in serying, girls who are strong in setting and girls who are strong in passing. “We’ve only got a few players who are strong in all three categories but the rest will develop with experience, I think.”

“They’re real cooperative,” the coach said, praising her squad of 14 novices in the varsity volleyball ranks. “They work hard. They’ll go on and on forever. They really want to improve. If they didn’t have that, I could talk myself blue in the face and we’d never get anywhere,” Brand said.
