Compromise Condition

After discussing the situation in executive session with town attorney Douglas Baumgardner Wednesday, the council adopted a resolution to modify the conditions. They accepted a substitute suggestion similar to that which had been offered by Dickey at the December council meeting: that if at any future time parking becomes a problem, the town could either call for restoration of the two parking spaces in front of The Inn which are now covered by the planters or require the restaurant to provide additional spaces within 600 feet of the building.
