Washington soon will have two more bed and breakfast guest homes. The Town Council approved on May 9 a request from Pat Foster and Camille HarrisFoster to open a bed and breakfast on Main Street. In addition, Council granted Peter Kramer permission to operate a bed and breakfast on Gay Street Extended.
Both requests had been delayed for more than a month while Council made its final decisions.
Stipulations Included
Each project was approved with one nuyor stipulation: Should either owner later sell their bed and breadfast, the next owner would have to come before the Town Council again to reapply for the bed and breakfast permit. “Any ‘special use’ permit will go with the people who own the property," Mayor Newbill
