This is to inform you that the following letter has been sent to R. H. Cross, Executive Director of the Virginia Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries.
Dear Mr. Cross:
The Rappahannock County Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America is greatly concerned over the Commission’s action to declassify as a trout stream that portion of the Rush River which is downstream from the Shenandoah National Park. The facts are the following;
1. There are trout in the Rush River all the way to its confluence with the Thornton River at Rock Mills, and,
2. Your action to declassify the stream is now being used as an excuse to permit development along it, which
