RCHS Talent Show
An evening of imaginative entertainment at the high school was capped off by three winners of the Parent’s Booster Club’s Talent Show. Marie Davis (1st place) belted out “And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going” with poise, power and range; Julie Burke (2nd place) jumped in with both feet to a musical description of the absurdity of acting classes in an acting/singing rendition of “Nothing” and the folk singing duo of Brian Barnes and Elwood Dodson (3rd) showed their expertise by playing guitar and blending voices. Also deserving of mention are Maria Roemer’s modem dance based on “Flashdance” and the visuals of Jon McCullough’s group’s portrayal of David Bowie’s “Chinagirl,” black and white clothes on singers
