The county has received school fluids from the state that exceed budget projections “by a good amount,” Estabrook said. “But the money is going into the general county coffers...The county is getting in much more than anticipated but the School Board is still bound by the bottom line figure (approved by the supervisors).”
After brief discussion, the School Board instructed Estabrook to bring to the next meeting revised figures on categorical balances and recommended requests for approval from the supervisors for funding transfers between categories.
