A correction is in order in the date of the death of Elder Sherman Essex, as it was Easter Sunday, April 22nd. We regret the error in last week’s issue and in the letter from his wife she stated that he had an early “sunrise to glory”.
Mrs. Lucy Thornhill has returned to her home here after several months with her relative, Mrs. Bunch in Culpeper and at services at her church, Mt. Lebanon, on Mother’s Day, she was recognized for being the oldest mother present.
Justin Corbin spent the Mother’s Day weekend with his grandmother, Mrs. Lillie Corbin in Sperryville.
