There appear to be unanswered questions about the proposed adult home to be located at the old ski area in Harris Hollow. I will try to answer in this issue of Rappahannock News and succeeding issues all questions that anyone may have.

‘ r:‘ What is“tbe actylt home that is planned in Harris Hollow? This will be a retirement community for adults licensed by the Department of Social Services of the Commonwealth of Virginia. It will be a type of retirement village for those who need no care, as well as for those who do. There will be several alternatives for the residents depending on their needs.

2. What kind of care will be offered? Probably most of the residents will not need care. For those who want and need it, meals and housekeeping services will be provided as well as personal care according to their needs.

3. What will it cost? We plan to make the costs as reasonable as possible. We are not able to say exactly now what that will be. However, the cost will be in line with what similar establishments charge.

4. How large will the facility be? We are applying for a maximum of 120 units.

5. Will it be built in increments?

We are planning to build in increments. We would plan to start with 50 apartment units and a 24-bed home for
