Vepco will be collected on an interim basis and subject to refund pending the Commission's final order in this proceeding.
A public hearing on Vepco's application is scheduled for July 26, 1984 at 10:00 a.m. in the Commission's Courtroom, Jefferson Building, Bank and Governor Streets, Richmond, Virginia to receive evidence relevant to Vepco's application.
A copy of Vepco's application is available for public inspection during regular business hours at any Vepco office where customer bills may be paid and at the SCC Document Control Center, Floor B1, Jefferson Building, Richmond, Virginia.
Any person desiring to comment in writing on the application may do so by directing such comments to the Clerk of the Commission as provided below. Any person desiring i© make a statement at the public hearing, either for or against the appli&tion, need only appear in the Commission's Courtroom at 9:30 a.m. on the day of the hearing and identify himself or herself as a public witness.
On or before June 27, 1984, persons desiring to participate as protestants, as defined in Rule 4:6 of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure (hereinafter "SCC Rules"), to present evidence and cross-examine witnesses, shall file an original and fifteen (15) copies of a Notice of Protest, as described in SCC Rule 5:16(a) with the Clerk of the Commission and serve a copy upon Vepco. Service upon Vepco shall be directed to Evans B. Brasfietd, Esquire, Hunton and Williams, P. O. Box 1535, Richmond, Virginia 23212. A copy of the Notice of Protest should also be served upon the Division of Consumer Counsel, Office of Attorney General, 101 North 8th Street, 5th Floor, Richmond, Virginia 23219.
On or before July 12, 1984, each protestant shall file an original and fifteen (15) copies each of a protest (SCC Rule 5:16(b) and of the prepared testimony and exhibits protestant intends to present at the public hearing, and serve a copy upon Vepco and each protestant.
Any party participating as a protestant should review the instructions regarding discovery set forth in the Commission's order in this proceeding dated April 27, 1984.
