Musical Theater ■i i Wakefield School will present an evening of theater, song and art this Friday, May 18, during their annual Spring Concert and Art Show. The art exhibit will feature works from several area schools, among them, Rappahannock County Elementary School. Doors open at 7 p.m. for viewing of the exhibit; the concert begins at 7:30. Admission is $1.

Help Yourself Amissville firefighers are selling protection—a Kidde multi-purpose fire extinguisher. A $25 value, the extinguishers are being given in return for a $15 donation to the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department. Strawberry Festival Strawberry time is special in Delaplane. The ninth annual Delaplane Strawberry Festival is planned for Sunday, May 27, from noon to 5 p.m. Gallons of fresh strawberries, in sundaes or on shortcakes, will be served by members of the Cool Spring United Methodist Church. Also for sale will be baked goods, hot ham biscuits, hot dogs, and soft drinks. There’ll be a bake contest.
