Hope everyone had a Happy Mother’s Day.
Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Bowey have returned home after a 10 day trip to Charleston and Florence, S.C. While in Charleston they attended the Bowey family reunion. They visited and were dinner guests of Dr. and Mrs. John Denton of Florence. Enroute home they visited friends in Emporia.
Don’t forget the Amusville Volunteer Fire Department is having their Spring Auction Saturday, May 19 starting at 6:30 p.m. Come out and support the fire company.
