Students to highlight DAR meeting High school students from four area schools will highlight the program when the members of the Culpeper Minute Men Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, meet Tuesday, January 14, at 2 p.m. in the Culpeper United Methodist Church. The senior high school students who have been selected by their respective schools as an outstanding good citizen and who will participate in the program are: Rappahannock — Will Oliver; Wakefield — Tara Welty; Culpeper — Susan Hobeck, and Madison — Katie Powell. Hostesses will be Mrs. Ellis Beverly Gilmore and Mrs. George L. ' Taylor. Dance classes The dance series sponsored by The Child Care and Learning Center will begin Thursday, January 16, at the Gay Street Theatre. Angie Howard will offer the dance classes for eight weeks, ending Thursday,; March 6. For more information call the Center at 675-3237.

‘Experience Preferred — But Not Essential9 “Experience Preferred — But Not Essential” starring Elizabeth Edmonds will be playing at the Gay StreetfTheatre January 11 and 12. The movie is rated PG. A charming comedy set in Wales, it is about a waitress in a tacky resort, who must cope with being away from home for the first time and with the trials of dealing with all the eccentrics around her. Aerobic dance classes A six-week series of aerobic dance classes will be held January 14 through February 21. Afternoon classes will be at the Flint Hill fire hall at 4 p.m. Tuesday and Fridays. Evening classes will be at Rappahannock Elementary School at 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Class fee is $25 for twice a week, $35 for unlimited. For more information call Rose Ann Sharp at 675-3887. New students are welcome. Karate classes The new karate series sponsored by The Child Care and Learning Center will begin Wednesday, January 29, at the Community Center.
