Mr. and Mrs.. Carson Lillard were honored at a 50th wedding anniversary party on Saturday, December 28 at the Flint Hill fire hall given by their children and grandchildren.
A number of family members and friends attended from North Carolina, South Carolina, Arizona and Virginia including former pastors, Rev. and Mrs. A. D. Goodson, of Franklin, Rev. and Mrs. Norman J. Flythe, of Woodland, N.C., Rev. and Mrs. Claude Cooke, of Culpeper.
The Adminstrative Board of the Flint Hill United Methodist Church ydll meet on Monday, January 13 at *7:30 p.m. at the parsonage with the Rev. and Mrs. Merlin Shorb. ’ The Flint Hill Home Extension Club will meet on Tuesday, January 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Flo Duvall.
