According to Kathleen, a healthy body can produce substances that may be similar to these manufactured drugs.
“Inflammation is an important part of the healing process,” she said. “Through acupressure and other techniques we can stimulate our adrenals to produce our own natural pain-killer, corfisone. If anyone has been debilitated with bursitis, tendonitis or severe osteo-arthritis and they have received a cortisone injection, they are very aware of the amazing relief from pain.”
“Science has taken our body’s chemistry and in some instances has merely duplicated what our bodies would do for themselves. Again, in severe crises, or inordinate amounts of pain, there is a place for this type of medicine. But with injury or disease, our body’s immune system, endocrine system, as well as all systems, begin immediately to repair the damage.”
