REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Pursuant to Section 11-37, etseq. ofthe 1950Codeof Virginia, as amended, the Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority requests proposals for insurance coverage relating to its official functions, which functions include, but are not limited to, the Authority’s administration of the Spenyville Sewer Project and Spercyville Sewer System. Said insurance coverage may include, but will not necessarily be limited to, workmen’s compensation coverage, comprehensive general liability coverage, property coverage, flood insurance, non-ownership automobile coverage and directors’ and officers’ liability coverage. Selection of an offeror will be made by competitive negotiation as defined by Section 11-37 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended. Price will be considered, but will not necessarily be the sole determining factor in selection. Factors which will boused in evaluating proposals include the financial standing of the offeror, the quality of coverage, the quality of service proposed, the quality of recommendations received and price. Proposals should include the offeror’s recommendations as to types and amounts of coverage and may, if the offeror elects to do so, include alternative recommendations for coverage accompanied by alternative prices.
