I’m beginning to wonder who the impresario was who got us all stirred up over Halley’s comet. Rather likely, it^pas the ad man for the Japanese optical industry. I, for one, fell for the ploy — hook, line and sinker and bought an appropriate telescope, thinking to take full advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity — to see the comet that is.
