Mr. and Mrs. Joseph P. Sherman, of Etlan, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jane E. Sherman to Lt. Michael J. Taylor, of. Laguna Niguel, California.
Miss Sherman is a 1984 graduate of James Madison University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. She is currently employed as a paralegal by Thomas & Fiske, P.C. in Alexandria.
Lt. Taylor is a graduate of Northwestern University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and German. He is currently a disbursing officer in the United States Marine Corps, stationed at El Toro Marine Corps Air < Station in California.
