Mr. and Mrs. George Raymond Jenkins returned to their home^in Suffolk on Sunday after visiting Mrs. Jenkins’ sisters, Mrs. Mary V. Updike and Miss Phyllis Vemer, for several days. They were also guests of Mr. Jenkins’ parents, Mr. and, Mrs. George W. Jenkins in Sperryville.
✓'-pN^ir. and Mrs. John Schultz arrived home Thursday night after having spent Christmas and the New Year’s holidays with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Jakabowicz, Kristi, Matt and Andrea in Syracuse, New York. During the holidays Mr. and Mrs. Steven Sengstack and son Eric of Centerville joined the family for several days.
We hope Mrs. Mary Hudson is feeling better.
Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Fairfax from New Year’s through Thursday were Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Boyce and Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Fairfax of Williamsport, Md.
New Year’s Day callers of Mrs. Frances Eubank were Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Smoot and daughter Crystal of Lake Front Royal, Mr. and Mrs. Frankie Hitt of Woodville, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hudson of Sperryville and Mrs. Mary Hudson.
Mrs. Frances Eubank treated her daughters,'Ms. Betty Meneffee, of Warrenton and Mrs. Mary Hudson, to lunch Saturday at Brambles in town. Mrs. Eubank and her son John had lunch there on Sunday.
Good luck to our friend Paul Cooper, of Castleton, who left Tuesday for the Navy.
