To the editor:
I want to thank all those who made a special Christmas happen to many families in our county this year. The kind editorial in the newspaper started some of our donations — help was given by the schools, the Brownies, Cub Scouts, Tiger Scouts, Girl and Boy Scouts, the churches, local clubs and private citizens.
You gave money, canned goods, pretty Christmas stockings filled with candy, extra special beautifully wrapped gifts and some got to play Santa by filling private requests.
Thank you all for your generous donations that gave Christmas a special meaning this year for others. While we were occupied with our own families, so many showed they cared and did not forget others.
