Mrs. Harry Morrison, of Winchester, Robert Thornhill, of Vienna and Winfrey Thornhill, of Nokesville, spent several!days here with their mother, Mrs. Cary Thomhil, following the death of their father. Relatives and friends came from New York, Florida, New Jersey and North Carolina for the funeral on Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hash were guests last Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Bade in Fredericksburg.
Miss Caroline Goddard of “Quaint Acres” spent the recent weekend with Miss Dorothy Sullenberger at Stuart Hall in Staunton.
Mrs. Ruth E. Hash, Mrs. Jane C. Will, Mrs. W. 0. Hill and Mrs. Johnson Martin were in Richmond last Monday as guests of Mrs. George Beard and Mrs. Richard Holland and visited the General Assembly and Governor’s Mansion.
Mrs, Lucy Thornhill is now a resident at Culpeper Health Care Center and was visited Saturday afternoon by Mrs. Alvin Atkins, of Sperryville.
Haywood Fincham is improving satisfactorily at the home of his sonin-law and daughter, M.__ H. W. Jenkins following another stay in Culpeper Memorial Hospital for more treatment pertaining to his recent pacemaker surgery.
