Turn off the heater when the room is empty. Don’t leave young children or pets in the room unless an adult is present. Always turn off the heater before going to sleep.
Make certian there is adequate ventilation, even if a window has to be opened slightly.
Use only number one-K kerosene. This top-grade fuel, often called white kerosene, gives a cleaner bum and keeps down smoke and odor. Never use gasoline nor store the kerosene in an old gasoline can.
