Commuter rail
A Northern Virginia delegate says rail service for the region could begin this spring, thanks to support from the state House Appropriations Committee.
David G. Brickley1 {D-Prince William) said the first train could be running by April 27. Initially, service would be limited to one roundtrip each weekday, between Fredericksburg and Union Station in the District of Columbia.
