Virgil Embrey
Virgil Elmore Embrey, 70, of Catlett, died Sunday, February 9, 1986, at Fauquier Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ella Embrey; two daughters, Margie Heflin, of Catlett and Linda Hays, of Fredericksburg; one son, Howard Embrey, of Sumerduck; seven grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
Additional survivors include five brothers, Francis S. Embrey, of Amissville, Thomas Embrey, of Lowell, Mass., Pleasant L. Embrey, of Portersville, Pa., William Embrey, of Buchannon, W.Va., and Walter Embrey, of Fredericksburg; two sisters, Edith Buttner, of Culpeper and Myrtle Sheads, of Rixeyville.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, February 12 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Midland, with the Rev. Peyton Embrey officiating, with interment in the church cemetery.
