Robert Inkseep, Game Warden

of Page County, was guest speaker at the dinner meeting of the Rappahannock Lions Club held last Wednesday at Hampton Inn. Mr. Inskeep showed a film on rainbow and brook trout which explained the operation of state hatcheries and the stocking of trout streams.

Mrs. James Grimmer of Flint Hill was appointed chairman of the 1966 Heart Fund Campaign in Rappahannock County. The chairman will be assisted by Mrs. Magdalene Dearing of Washington as Vice Chairman. The campaign will be conducted here, and also in more than 8,500 other American communities, throughout February.

March 4 is the deadline for citizens, planning to seek office in the town elections, to file Candidate Declarations and Petitions.

Candidates must obtain filing forms from Richmond. According to Diane Bruce, Clerk of the Rappahannock Circuit Court, candidates should not wait until the last day to file because forms may not be available at her office.
