abuse program for the student body was enthusiastically supported. The C.P.S. worker serving the Rappahannock area has agreed to help coordinate a suitable presentation which will then be delivered to the school for approval.
The SPTA also acted to fill the president’s office which had been vacant since the summer. Vice-president and acting president, Cindy Andreoni, was officially elected to the office and Judy Tole was elected vice-president. They join April Huddleston (secretary) and Edie Clark (treasurer) on the board of officers for the balance of the school year. The SPTA will hold its regular election of officers for the 1986-87 school year in May.
The SPTA is enjoying a very productive year and strongly encourages the involvement of as many parents and teachers as possible to make it a great year. Anyone with an active interest in RCES, its students and staff is urged to attend future meetings and make their voices heard. The agenda is open to input from all who come. Meetings are scheduled for the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. in the RCES library.
