Upcoming Events Rurilans to meet The Amissville Ruritan Club will meet on Wednesday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the Amissville Baptist Church. American Heart Association The American Heart Association is sponsoring a meeting on Tuesday, March 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Washington. The speaker will be Ms. Robin Stafford, Richmond affiliate. Dr. Jerry Martin will be available to answer questions and to offer blood pressure screenings. The public is invited to attend.

Benefits for Amissville Fire Department The annual benefit auction sponsored by the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department will be held on Saturday, April 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the fire hall. Attention: Class of’76 An organizational meeting to plan the 10th class reunion of the 1976 graduating class of Rappahannock County High School has been scheduled for Monday, March 24 at 7:00 p.m. in the library at the school. All classmates are urged to attend.
^ Homemakers’ trip to Baltimore The Rappahannock Extension Homemakers are sponsoring a trip to Baltimore on April 9. The cost of the round trip bus ride is $16 and the group rate to enter the Aquarium will be $4.75 and $3.25 for senior citizens. There are restaurants of all price ranges and picnic areas for lunch. There are also many interesting places to shop. The trip is open to anyone interested, first-come, first-served, so please reserve your spot on the bus by taking your $16 check by the Extension Office as soon as possible. The bus will depart Rappahannock County at 8:00 a.m. The place of departure will be announced later, make plans to be there by 7:45 a.m. The group will be leaving Baltimore at 4:00 p.m. and estimated return time is 6:00 p.m. Make plans to be there!
