Mrs. Rogers explained the four major fund raisers. Money is needed to buy wood and other supplies not donated. “The fund raisers are BuyA-Board, Commercial/Business Block contributions, Individual donations, and the Pickle Jar method.
Each student will bring home a flyer explaining what Buy-A-Board means. Those who are interested in being a salesperson will receive a sales package. The package will include an informational letter, an explanation of the bonus prize and a buyer’s list sheet. The children will ask relatives and community members for a five dollar donation. Every Monday the list of contributors and money will be collected. The student who collects the most single sales by the end of the campaign wins fifty dollars, sedfind highest wins twenty-five dollars, third highest wins fifteen dollars and fourth highest wins ten dollare. The class who collects the most sales will be shown a movie in class with popcorn.
