Funeral services were conducted Thursday, March 6, at the Moody Funeral Service Chapel by the Rev. William Wallace. Interment was at the National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Pallbearers were Joseph Rawley IV, Brian Mason, David James, John Kirby, Dan Wilkerson, Jr., and Thomas Smith.
Edward Wines
The Rev. Edward Theodore Wines, 64, of Castleton died Monday, March 10, 1986, at Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton.
The Rev. Wines was born March 17, 1921, in Warren County, son of the late Robert H. and Minnie Williams Wines. He was a retired minister. He served in the U.S. Army.
Surviving are his wife, Mazie J. Wines of Castleton; one son, Edward R. Wines of Harrisonburg; four daughters, Betty Jean Woodward of Amissville, Audrey Leigh Neller of Fredericksburg, Sandra Kay Woodward of Manassas and Debra Lyen Edwards of Rapidan; and seven grandchildren.
