medieval festival

Wakefield will hold the annual Medieval Festival at the school this week. The festival and banquet celebrate Candlemas, a festival dating from the Middle Ages.
Larry Tarr, a senior from Warrenton, will be announcing the festival to the school’s students. The evening is highlighted by a banquet with beef roasted outside on the traditional spit. There are also games and contests as well as a contest for the best costumes.
