According to Richard Settle, owner of Settle’s Garage in Flint HOI, his fearless forecaster of the winter’s length, who visited the station on Monday, "found the sun so bright he’s wearing sunglasses.”
So, in keeping with the old saying that "every silver lining does have its cloud,” we - bring you the news that Rappahannock’s groundhogs have officially forecast another six weeks of winter.
